One of the easiest ways to update your mani is by adding glitter to it. There are so many different types of glitter you can use, matte, sparkly, holographic, small, big, and the list goes on. Today I will show you two ways of changing the same plain yellow mani with glitter polish.

I used China Glaze Some Like It Haute on my ring finger and China Glaze Lemon Fizz on all the others. Lemon Fizz required three coats to make it opaque but it’s easy to apply. Some Like It Haute can be applied like a normal polish as long as you use a light hand and let each layer dry thoroughly. It’s a thick polish with lots of glitter so it can be made opaque easily.

For this look I used Miss Wallflower by Prettypots Polish over China Glaze Lemon Fizz. Most glitter toppers need to be applied by dabbing it onto the “undie” or base colour. If you do put a glitter topper on in the same way you would a normal polish, the glitter pieces will often be swiped off as you polish or all bunch to in one area.

The best thing about glitter toppers is that they can be put over lots of different colours. I can’t wait to try Wall Flower over other colours. The 7 different matter coloured glitters give you so many ‘undie’ options.
