Welcome!

I have decided to start blogging because I always have more to say than I can fit in an Instagram caption. I plan on using this blog to share my nails, beauty products and dog pictures. 

I read a lot of other nail blogs which have amazing and intricate nail art pictures that I can only dream of doing. Most people seem to have started blogging after they have mastered their nail art. There don’t seem to be many people who have documented their nail journey from the beginning. So here I am to fill the gap. I have only been interested in doing my own nail art this year so I haven’t tried most techniques let alone mastered any. I hope to show you that everyone can make their nails look pretty with a little practice. Most days I have blurry vision and hand shakes, so if I can do it, anyone can! I will blog about both my successes and failures. No one is perfect, everyone will have bad days, and I plan on showing you that. I also will not photoshop my pictures. They will be cropped and watermarked but I will not edit out any mistakes I make – also be prepared for dry cuticle days. 

I hope to blog as often as my health allows me to. I can also be found on Instagram at @alintamcmurdo where I will be sharing my blog pictures and lots of dogs pictures. I’m always open to answering any questions you may have so feel free to ask here or on Instagram.
