What’s In-die Box September Spectacular Space

22/09/2014
The theme for What’s In-die Box September 2014 is Spectacular Space. As always, I’ve waited until all Aus boxes are delivered to post this as I would hate to spoil someone’s surprise.

I was disappointed with last months box but the inspiration photos for this month were interesting so I decided to get it.

Left to right is Peita’s Polish Solar Flare, Moonstone Polish Star Queen Nebula, Two Birds Lacquer Sparkling Supernova, Lilypad Lacquer Lunar Lights and Glam Polish Falling Galaxy. Peita’s Polish came with a cute bow attached to the bottle but I forgot to put it on for the photo.

Glam Polish Falling Galaxy
Glam Polish Falling Galaxy

Glam Polish Falling Galaxy is a deep purple holo, sometimes leaning burgundy in the light. The application was smooth and the polish was opaque with two coats. There’s nothing unique about this polish but Glam lovers will want it. Mine is already off to a Glam lover who I know will appreciate it more than I will.

Lilypad Lacquer Lunar Lights
Lilypad Lacquer Lunar Lights

Lilypad Lacquer Lunar Lights is a grey holographic polish. In the sunshine the holographic particles come to life and shine gold. As with all Lilypad polishes, it has a great formula and is opaque in two coats. If you love grey or Lilypad polishes then this one if for you.

Two Birds Lacquer Sparkling Supernova
Two Birds Lacquer Sparkling Supernova

Two Birds Lacquer Sparkling Supernova is a black jelly polish with loads of glitter. Three coats of this polish will get it opaque enough to wear but you could also use a black base coat and less layers of this. I prefer the three layers because you get the lower layer glitters peeping through making it look like the night sky. This is a unique polish in my collection and really looks like space to me. You will have to try this polish for yourself to see the true beauty of it.

Moonstone Polish Star Queen Nebula

Moonstone Polish Star Queen Nebula is a blue crelly with aqua and holographic glitters. You can build up to opacity in three coats. These photos don’t do the polish justice as the glitters on the bottom layer shine through and give it great depth. I love this polish and hope to wear it soon.
Peita’s Polish Solar Flare

Peita’s Polish Solar Flare is an aqua scattered holo with what looks to be little flakies. It is a pretty colour but the name makes me think of orange rather than green. The formula is good and is easily opaque within two coats. It is much more sparkly than in the photo so holo fans will like this polish.

This month’s Box was nicer than last month. It made me fall in love with What’s In-die Box again. Next month is Holo-ween which is a bit disappointing as there was a holo only box not long ago. I’m hoping an all glitter box will come soon; now that would be special.

Love, Alinta
