Peita’s Polish Puppy Love |
First up is Peita’s Polish Puppy Love from the Jan What’s In-die Box which I’ve already written a review on. I used three coats of this pretty pink crelly and did very little glitter placement. The hearts are a heavy glitter so sink to the bottom of the bottle so it’s a good idea to leave the bottle upside down before using it. Puppy Love is my favourite polish with heart glitters at the moment.
Up next is Love Angeline Pass Me The Sweet Hearts. Pass Me The Sweet Hearts is a white crelly polish with pink hearts and round matte pastel glitters. The formula on this wasn’t great. I had to do four thin coats as the runny formula was flooding my cuticles. Thick coats would give heavier glitter pay off and make it opaque quicker – if you’re prepared to do cuticle clean up. I also used Love Angeline Oh So Kissable which is a pretty pink scattered holo polish. I used three coats but it was opaque in two. This is such a flattering pink colour. I got Pass Me The Sweet Hearts and Oh So Kissable just after last Valentine’s Day from Mei Mei Signatures but now Powder Perfect stocks Love Angeline Polishes, making shipping much cheaper for Australians. I like the end result of this Love Angeline duo but the formula of Pass Me The Sweet Hearts will put me off using if I don’t have time for clean up.

L-R Dead Set Babes Lost In Translation, Fox and Owl Alinta’s Hearts, Moonstone Strangeness & Charm, Fox and Owl Heartless and Dead Set Babes Lost In Love. |
Some others in my collection include Dead Set Babes Lost In Translation and Lost In a Love. They were released as a set last Valentine’s Day. Lost In Translation has flakies that make it pop over black where as Lost In Love is just matte glitter so works over any colour. I also have Fox and Owl Polish Heartless and a custom, Alinta’s hearts (mix of pink, purple and white hearts in clear base), which I’m sure can be replicated by Fox and Owl if you ask nicely. Heartless is a mix of purple glitter with black hearts, which I reviewed ages ago now. The last one is the original Strangeness and Charm by Moonstone Nail Polish. If you get in quick you can still get the second version, Strangeness and Charm 2.0. There are lots of other heart polishes on the market so look up your favourite indie to see if they make one. I have Emily de Molly Heart Street and Femme Fatale Cosmetics Cinders Of Sleep on my wishlist. What is your favourite heart polish? Do you have some on your wishlist too?

Very pretty! I don't think I have any heart polishes, I'll have to have a look!
Oh heart polishes were one of the first things to catch my eye in the indie world. I don't do stars though which is odd to some lol
