Today I have two new Powder Perfect polishes to show you. I’ve had them a couple of weeks so I’ve swatched them twice to see if I could get better pictures. During the second round of swatching, I have a little Chihuahua tooth mark on my little finger cuticle (I’m trying to teach him not to but I think his brain is too small). Anyway, this duo is a collaboration with Cako a Pailletes, Powder Perfect’s French stockist. It is strictly limited edition in the Powder Perfect Store but Cako a Pailletes will have a full release. This is a picture heavy post as I want to make sure I have all angles of these polishes captured.

Powder Perfect The World Beneath is inspired by the world hidden beneath our feet. This is a bronzed red duochrome polish with lots of flakies in the mix. I used two thick coats in my swatches and application was really easy despite all the flakies. In the sun, the bronzed red base takes centre stage but in the shade the flakies shine and the strong duochrome shift is visible. I’m not normally a fan of dark polishes or duochromes but this polish is lovely. I also used the new Powder Perfect top coat, Chandelier Shine, over both polishes. The drying time was great and it dried rock hard, just the way I like my top coats. Chandelier Shine does have a strong smell but it doesn’t last long on the nail.
