I realise that easter is now over but you are still getting an easter inspired mani. I did try to do the little chick in egg nail art but the Ulta3 polish I used was so terrible that I took it off before it was finished. So instead I decided to reach for a lovely Glittering Elements polish to pick me up.
Glittering Elements With Love is a lovely light pink crelly with silver and gold hex glitter and a strong golden shimmer. Light pinks can look weird with my skin tone but this one was so pretty. I’m surprised there’s no blog posts out there raving about how beautiful this polish is, you really have to see it in person. I did two coats and didn’t have any pull back from the cuticle with a quick dry top coat (KB Shimmer Clearly On Top), but I would advise you to coat your tips as crellys can pull back.
To make this look a little more easter-like I added chevrons of Glittering Elements 50 Shades Of Turquoise using KB Shimmer vinyl stencils. Glittering Elements 50 Shades of Turquoise is a light Turquoise creme with purple and pink flakies, aqua shimmer and a scattered holo. 50 Shades Of Turquoise was a group exclusive for the members of the glittering elements facebook fan group. It’s no longer available but you can join the group for future special polishes.
Before these two polishes, I had only tried Glittering Elements polishes from the What’s In-die Boxes and I hadn’t particularly liked them but these two are great. I highly recommend them. Do you think the mani looks easter inspired? Did you do easter nails?
