MooGoo Skin Care Review

28/11/2015
My skin has changed so much this year, so I have had to find new products that suit my skin. For unknown reasons, my skin has become even more sensitive. A couple of months ago I had the worst eczema flare that I have ever had (even my doctor was shocked), it was mainly concentrated on my eyes. Since then, I changed up my skincare routine to include MooGoo Products. MooGoo is an environmentally conscious Australian company who focus on products with natural ingredients. They are certified cruelty free by Choose Cruelty Free, which if you read my Vegan And Cruelty Free Standards In Beauty Post, you will know that CCF is the best place to look for ethical brands.

MooGoo Skincare

I first decided to try MooGoo when someone recommended to me the original Eczema and Psoriasis Cream (Vegan) for it’s anti-inflammatory effect. All the creams I had tried previously would sting when I applied them to my Eczema, but this one didn’t. I now use this every morning and night, with or without makeup. It is really soothing but I do still need to use medicated creams when my eczema flares up. I think it aids the medicated cream, so I don’t have to use it as long, and helps to prevent future eczema flares. I don’t think it is moisturising enough by itself, so I then went out and purchased the MSM Soothing Cream (which MooGoo recommends to use after the Eczema and Psoriasis Cream). The MSM Soothing Cream along with the Eczema Cream have helped my skin a lot. I prefer the pump bottle of the Soothing Cream, so I hope the Eczema Cream packaging is changed in future. MooGoo have brought out a new version of the Eczema and Psoriasis Cream which I will try when my current bottle has run out (I’m trying to squeeze every last bit out of it).

MooGoo Skincare

My most recent purchase was the Full Cream Moisturiser. I have heard a lot of people rave about this product, so I had to try it. It moisturises my sensitive skin well (which is more dry this year but still blemish prone), but I also know of very dry and oily skin types who also love it. When my skin is feeling especially irritable, I will add an oil to my skin under this moisturiser, usually the Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil, the Sukin Facial Treatment Oil or the Rosehip Plus Rosehip Oil. MooGoo make a rosehip oil of their own as well as various other serums, but I am yet to try any of them.

MooGoo Skincare
I really love these products from MooGoo and hope to try more in future. The company has great values, like being cruelty free and environmentally minded with recyclable packaging, and having most products made at Queensland’s first Carbon Neutral Estate. A lot of the products aren’t vegan but I have got a list of which ones are: Both Eczema and Psoriasis Creams, Scalp Cream, Nappy Balm, Mini Moo Bubbly Wash, the Oil Cleansing Method, the Eye Serums and Rosehip Oil, the Lip Balms except Tingling Honey, Tail Swat Body Spray and, the Deodorant Cream. Plus the entire Dusty Girls makeup range is also vegan. The website and products have all the ingredients clearly labeled so it is easy to determine which products contain animal ingredients. I hope they expand their line of vegan products in future, but that is the only thing I hope this company improves on. I did have a hard time buying some of these products as they were selling out as soon as they were restocked at my local shop, so my advice is to buy it if you see it.

Have you tried any MooGoo products? Are there any others that I must try?

Love, Alinta
