Easter nails with Pretty Serious |
Every Easter I see lots of chicken in an egg nail art and I have always wanted to try my hand at it. I used Pretty Serious Cosmetics Honey Puff as the yellow on all my nails. The first coat was streaky but it evened out on the second coat. I did three coats to make sure that it was opaque in close up shots, but if I were wearing it without blogging, I would have only used two. On my accent nail I started with a base of Pretty Serious Presence, it is marketed as a one coat nail polish but I needed two for it to be even and opaque, however the formula is very good for a white nail polish. I used KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat over Presence and then waited half an hour. I then used two zig zag vinyls and placed Honey Puff in the middle of them. To get the eyes and beak, I used a dotting tool and Pretty Serious Absence (black) and China Glaze Stoked To Be Soaked (orange). The details aren’t particularly accurate but I’m just glad I finished with how much I struggled.
