I recently purchased some cute little business cards from Social Circle Cards. They are designed in a way that makes them perfect for bloggers and social media influencers, plus they are really cute.

I found out about the Social Circle Cards a long time ago now, but at that stage they didn’t have many designs and there was nothing that was really my style. I have been looking for a blog business card for quite a while now as people frequently ask me about this blog and I have nothing to give them so they can remember the name. I made a Pinterest board (Blog Business Card Ideas) as it’s an easy way of collecting ideas in one place. You will see from the board that I have a tendency to like all the business cards that have any sort of metallic theme (rose gold is especially my favourite), but getting real foiling on a business card is really expensive and well out of my budget. I also really like cards that have a unique shape because the cards stand out more that way, and to me they aren’t too formal looking for a blog. I spent a long time looking through various websites and styles but I eventually came back to Social Circle Cards and the Aubrey Business Card style. The pink watercolouring and rose gold texture are right down my alley. I didn’t want any graphics that were specific to a beauty blogger, but they do have cards like that if that’s what you’re after.

There are two main categories on the Social Circle Cards website, the Social Cards and the Business Cards. Both sorts have the double sided scalloped circle design but there are more design options in the business cards and there is the option of getting a logo or word printed on the back of the card. I was originally going to put the lovealinta.com URL on the back of my cards but I decided to put it on the front and leave the pretty textured backing the way it is.They now also have a business card option that is a complete custom card designed around your logo. Both card categories have a maximum of 5 social media contacts, URLS and/or emails on the front. After you submit your order, you receive a customisation email where you tell them what you want on the card, and you also get revisions if something isn’t right. I changed the position of the url so that it was at the top of the card rather than the bottom and got the long ‘cruelty free beauty blogger’ title added in, so they are happy to customise to your preference.

The second thing I purchased from Social Circle Cards was the matching card holding case. Every card design has a matching card holder that you can also customise. You can put your logo on it or do what I did and use your name and the card background. The little case comes with a matching tassel, mini heart with social circles branding (easy enough to remove if you want to), and a clip that allows you to attach the case to your bag. When I first opened the case, I thought it might be a bit too flimsy and easily opened to put it on my bag but I tried forcing it open and it is actually a lot sturdier than I thought it was going to be. It ends up cheaper to buy the cards and case together but they are available separately too so you can buy cards and a case at a later date or extra cards to fill your case when you eventually run out.

The ordering and customisation process was really easy. It only took 7 days to ship from ordering, which included emails about customisation and the printing time, so that was much quicker than I was expecting, plus it only took 8 days to ship here from America. The cards came packed in a hard cylinder so there was no chance of the package being squashed. The case and cards themselves were placed in a pretty black gauze bag and they included extra cards on top of what I bought. 50 cards plus the case cost $39.95 usd plus $14.95 usd shipping to Australia which ended up cheaper than another card company I was looking at in the beginning.

My experience buying these cards has been really positive and I will buy more of the same style when I run out of my current stack. I love the unique shape of the cards, the amount of designs that they have (including many aimed at certain blog niches like beauty, fashion, travel and food) and the custom cases that make carrying around the cards so much easier. I think they’re a great business card option for any bloggers, vloggers, social media influencers or small businesses. Do you like the look of these Social Circle Cards? Have you bought some yourself already?
