In two weeks I will be heading to Sydney for the first Aussie Indie Con. The Aussie Indie Con is a convention to highlight the Aussie artisan beauty industry. You will find products from Australian handmade businesses in the areas of nail polish, cosmetics, bath and body and jewellery. This year it is being held at the National Maritime Museum in Sydney from on the 17th of June from 11am to 5pm with free entry – VIP ticket holders get admission at 10am.
Some of the highlights of the day include exclusive products from many of the vendors (I can’t wait to see the exclusive nail polishes), live workshops (you must book in for), live demonstrations (available to all), and what I’m most excited for, meeting all the people I have come to know whether they are the business owners, bloggers or indie lovers. I will be filming the day as well as doing a live demonstration at 1:30pm on how to use nail vinyls, so please look for me and come and say hi – I can be a little awkward as I don’t get to leave the house much with being so ill, but I would love it if you introduced yourself.
Now onto the brands that you will get to see and buy from on the day. Many of them will be accepting card payments via terminals like paypal of square, but some may only be accepting cash on the day.

Many of the vendors are shops I have listed in my Guide To Australian Indie Nail Polish blog post, but there are a couple of brands that are new to me that are going to be there too. You can search the brand names in my blog search box (to the right of screen on desktop, and to the bottom on mobile) if you want to see if I have reviewed their products previously.
Those with a VIP ticket are able to book a spot at one of the live workshops.

I am so excited to meet the other people volunteering their time to this event. The little group who have organised all of this have done an amazing job. Everyone is hoping it will be a huge success so that there will be more Aussie Indie Cons in the years to come.
I already have the Grace-full Nail Polishes I will be using on the day and they are amazing. I will have a preview blog post on them before the Aussie Indie Con, but on the day, be sure to check out the Grace-full table as they are launching that day. The closer the day gets, the more excited I become – I’m at silly school girl level at the moment! I think Aussie Indie Con will be a great day, so if you can, come along and see the lovely aussie brands who will be showcasing their best products on the day, and be sure to say hi to me while you’re there.
