The Grace-full Nail Polish Fruit Salad collection launches tomorrow at the Aussie Indie Con. I will be using them with nail vinyls in my demonstration at 1:30pm. So here’s a sneak peak of what they look like.

The Grace-full Nail Polish Fruit Salad Collection is full of beautiful bright cremes, perfect to make a rainbow mani with. The collection includes Strawberry (bright pink), Raspberry (slightly darker pink than Strawberry), Mango (bright orange) Lemon (bright yellow), Apple (bright green), Blueberry (bright blue) and Grape (purple). The Fruit Salad collection is one of the very few collections that I can see myself using up and wanting to buy again. Each polish applies really well, most are two coaters, but Mango and Lemon may be three coats depending on your application style as they can be slightly streaky on the first coat – still very easy to use though, and are much better than any other similar colours I have in my collection. The polishes in the Fruit Salad collection will become staples for me as I love using bright cremes in nail art.

I used some french tip nail vinyls along with Apple, Blueberry, Grape, Strawberry and Mango to create a simple rainbow mani. The colours work really well together so they’re perfect for any sort of colourful nail art. I started with one layer of the Grace-full base coat, which dried quite quickly. Then, I placed the french tip vinyls down and painted a thicker coat of the colour I wanted on the tip, making sure to remove the vinyl quickly (before the polish began to dry). I then finished with top coat once the nail polish was dry.

I also did a second nail art look with Raspberry and Lemon but I used a top coat that I’ve never tried before and it unfortunately smeared the design. I will definitely redo this look when I get a chance as I love the mix of butterfly nail vinyls, I think they look cute together. It is a timely reminder though –  only some top coats work with nail vinyl nail art. Some will smear the colours or ruin the design in some way, so it’s good to test a top coat on a nail stick beforehand.

I also have a picture of tomorrows nails that you will see me using the nail vinyls on top of tomorrow at Aussie Indie Con. This look has Strawberry, Mango, Lemon, Apple and Blueberry. I’m really nervous but I’m also super excited to meet everyone. You can have a look at my nails before you head to the Grace-full Nail Polish stand if you want to see them on, but believe me, they’re really pretty. I have also heard that they water-marble so I have to try that when I get back.

I love all the colours in the Grace-full Nail Polish Fruit Salad Collection. It might be hard to tell, but the two pinks are definitely different shades and I will get lots of use out of both of them. I hope you will come find me and say hi if you’re attending Aussie Indie Con tomorrow. I hope to film the day so that those of you who can’t go, can also see what it was like. If you aren’t able to attend, you will be able to get the Grace-full Nail Polish Fruit Salad collections online at a later date, so don’t worry, everyone can get a hold of this beautiful collection? What do you think of these polishes? Do you have a favourite colour?

Love, Alinta
